Who is Helios, and how is it related to EJB?
Helios is the doors and windows division of Les Entreprises Jude Brière (EJB), a family contractor in Contrecoeur founded in 1991, and a dealer for the Lajeunesse brand. Helios advises and sells; EJB installs, under its RBQ licence.
Where are the doors and windows made?
The windows are made by Lajeunesse in Lanoraie, in Lanaudière, across the river from Contrecoeur. The steel doors are made by ARD in Lachute. Both are in Québec.
Does the home visit commit me to anything?
No. We come to measure and look at each room with you. You receive a written quote. And even after signing at home, the law gives you 10 days to cancel at no cost.
Are there grants in 2026?
ENERGY STAR certified windows and doors may qualify for the Québec government’s Rénoclimat financial assistance: $150 per replaced opening, provided the home is evaluated before the work. We explain the process during the visit. (Information as of September 2026.)
What warranty is offered?
Lajeunesse windows: 20 years on PVC profiles and sealed units, 10 years on paint and aluminum. ARD doors: 1 year parts and labour, 10 years on paint. Every duration comes from the manufacturer’s certificate, handed to you with the quote.
